Learn to live a little
There are few things more damaging to the body than stress. This tip is short and sweet but truly effective.
Learn to do something every day that you really enjoy for at least 15 minutes or more if you can. You could go for a walk in the sunshine, you could go online and read jokes that actually make you belly laugh, you could read poetry or philosophy, you could listen to your favorite music or a book on tape.
Actually the book on tape is a great one because you listen to one chapter per day and in 2 weeks or so you just discovered a whole new book. In this way not only do you enjoy yourself but you learn and grow at the same time.
The trick here is to learn to de-stress for a short period every day it will do wonders for your health and make you better able to share yourself in relationships with others. Oh, and if you think that 15 minutes are a waste of productive time, think again. You will accomplish more with the time that you are productive if you’re not so stressed out all the time.

And if you don’t care for the above method of helping to alleviate stress you can always combine stress reduction and weight loss into one activity.
