Get your great 8! Be sure to get your 8 hours of sleep or as many as your body requires each and every night.
Sleep is one of those things you actually can’t catch up on. If you miss getting a good night’s sleep tonight you cannot just catch up on it and make up for it by sleeping more tomorrow. Once that sleep has been missed it’s gone.
You need YOUR body’s sleep requirement every night because you have set hormonal patterns that your body enjoys. Notice I said “YOUR” body’s sleep requirements. That’s because each person is different but only to a small degree. Myself personally, I require about 6 1/2 to 7 hours of sleep each night; any more than that and I actually feel somewhat tired the next day. So find your sleep time slots and stick to them; your body will perform better when you follow your own natural pattern.
